My practice

As a person I am kind, caring, compassionate, loyal and genuine.  These principles form part of my personal core values.  I offer a confidential, safe space with empathy and non-judgement and I respect my clients' individuality and uniqueness at all times. These qualities, I believe, help build a trusting, collaborative relationship which are fundamental to a positive and successful counselling process.

Relationship focused Integrative Psychotherapy is at the heart of my practice. This means I hold the relationship between myself and my client as central to the process of healing and personal growth and all aspects of my client, including their emotions, behaviours, cognitions and physiology are considered.  This I believe helps support and encourage change. I underpin my counselling and psychotherapy with a Person Centred approach while using a combination of many other theories such as Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy and Mindfulness which are integrated into my practice to suit each client's individual and unique experience.

When working in relationship with you as my client, we explore your presenting issues and unconscious process. This helps you gain greater understanding of your inner world, unhelpful patterns and your behaviours, feelings and emotions experienced in the present.

I offer face-to-face and online counselling to my clients, depending what best suits their needs.

The most beautiful people I've known are those who have known trials, have known struggles, have known loss and have found their way out of the depths.
